This Article is written in honour of a true son, a 21st-century martyr — Charlie Kirk (1993–2025).
This book is also written in appreciation of Lawrence Oyor, the catalyst of revival and a mentor in many ways.
I have never witnessed the death of a man cause such widespread glorification of Christ among many nations of the world as that of Charlie, especially in this modern civilization. He was a movement — a faithful servant indeed.
I didn’t know much about Charlie Kirk at first. It wasn’t until after his death that the authenticity of his message went viral. I listened to them — they became like a daily stream. Every time you went on social media, you couldn’t leave without being immersed in stories of how a sincere man, who exposed darkness through campus debates, was murdered because of his bold stand for the basic morals our society has long neglected.
Yes, he was killed for his faith — for proclaiming Jesus and for speaking the truth in a strategic and fearless way that only a few could have conceived — through debate. The left didn’t like his ideas, so they murdered him. Yes, they killed him for his faith.
You’re probably wondering where I’m going with all this. How does the song Jugular Jugular relate to the death of Charlie Kirk?
I don’t fully know, but I happened to watch the graphic video of how Charlie Kirk was murdered. Sincerely, I can’t stop calling his name. Charlie Kirk — may your standards, message, ideas, principles, notions, and intents live on in the heart of this generation.
In the video, he was calmly having a conversation with some college students, and just while he was in the middle of making a speech, a bullet went through the side of his neck — a direct hit to his jugular.
For many who may not understand what the jugular (short for jugular vein) means — the jugular veins include three pairs of veins in the neck: the interior, exterior, and anterior veins. These veins are vital because they return blood from the brain back toward the heart.
A direct hit to a person’s jugular means instant death.
One of the questions people have often asked is, “How can God’s servant die from just a single bullet?”
Some have said things like, “Charlie Kirk could have been the next president of the United States but didn’t live to fulfil his God-given mandate.”
Others have even mocked his death, saying that the bullet piercing through the side of his neck was proof that God is unable to protect His own.

While they were busy saying all these things, I found it somewhat amusing. Is God unable to protect His own? Of course not! God is more than able to keep Charlie alive until His coming.
During Donald Trump’s campaign, a similar event played out — but God spared Trump from that assault. Just a 0.001-millisecond turn to the right was the difference between life and death that day. Trump himself acknowledged it. God could have done the same for Charlie. I do not believe that God can’t. He can!
However, God is all-knowing. The death of Charlie has stirred the hearts of many Christian conservatives and young people across the nation. It has reminded the world that there is a God in heaven — and He is coming again in His glory and honour. All nations and kingdoms will see Him and wonder at the eminence of His presence. His glory will cast out the workers of darkness into the burning lake of fire (Revelation 22:12).
He is coming again, and His reward is with Him. He will reward everyone according to what they have done.
I’m not Charlie Kirk — I definitely cannot debate the way he did. But we all share one truth in common: “Jesus is coming soon! Repent.”
No gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or any other identity representing the LGBTQ society will enter the Kingdom of God. The devil knows this truth — and sadly, he works hard to keep you from knowing it.
As you read the remaining pages of this article, I pray that the Holy Spirit awakens you to the higher calling upon us as believers — to take the message of His coming far and wide.
About one month ago, from the time of writing this book, Lawrence Oyor released a powerful sound and message to the Body of Christ titled “Jugular Jugular.”
The song speaks of our responsibility as Christians — to break the jugular of Satan, just as he has tried to do with many of us in different ways.
This time, he tried to achieve it with Brother Charlie Kirk. The bullet went straight to his jugular. Physically, Charlie may have fallen, but spiritually, his death brought millions around the world closer to God. It reignited the consciousness that there is a God who loves, cares, redeems, delivers, and saves.
Hence, I can boldly say — the devil did not win this fight.

As Ephesians 6:12 declares, “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world.”
While the death of Charlie Kirk serves as a message to Christians around the world to stand boldly and declare their identity in Christ, “Jugular Jugular” by Lawrence Oyor is a sound — a rallying cry for believers to go after the devil with the same intensity he comes after us.
We must break the jugular of masturbation, pornography, lesbianism… Continue reading
