Is She’ol (Hell) the final place for every sinner?

During one of our evangelism, I engaged a conversation with a man who has obviously neglected the reality of God and the church. The conversation was quite a long one but not controversial. We talked about the coming of Jesus and we read Scriptures to Him. Well he became bittered as we told him that Hell is not the final place of every sinner. He coarse his eyes at me with a slight hiss which only told us how exasperated he was.

Is She’ol (Hell) a sinners final place?

The answer is quite simple; no!

Firstly, I have to kindly put that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. In many ways we all have sinned against God. Sin began from our first parent Adam and ever since had had several dangerous impact in the lives of men, however, we’re redeemed by the mercy and grace of God. John 3:16 says everything; For He – God so loved you, that He gave His only begotten son and whosoever (emphasis on ‘whosoever’) believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. Eternal life is a life if no pain, no sickness and no evil. It is the Life of God that brings to Light to all mankind (John 1:4). This is not just one mystical tale or belief. If you haven’t accepted Jesus yet in this turbulent world, you give the devil a room to keep hunting your peace and the promise of eternity with Jesus. Every son of disobedience will/shall find himself in hell (She’ol).

Meanwhile, I wish hell was the final place for all sinners. It would have been a bit bearable in some way but it isn’t. Hell isn’t the final place of those who havent confessed Jesus as their Lord today. There’s is still another turbulent place they will be after judgement. It’s called the Lake of fire! Every sinner who dies without confessing Jesus Christ today will be in Prison till the second coming of Jesus, afterwards in hell and hell isn’t the final place, death and hell will be thrown into the lake of fire! 

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

I do hate to announce it to you but there’s another reservoir that has been reserved for the judgement of those whose name will not be found in the book of life. That place is called the Lake of fire.

Is your name in the Book of life?

If you are yet to receive the Life of Jesus today, I’d hate to announce to you that your name is not in the eternal scrolls of the living God! You’ve got another opportunity today to accept Jesus Christ. By Him do all kings reign, by Him was the foundation of the Earth found, by Him were you and I created. He’s not asking for a favour from you today, instead He’s doing you favour; but as many as receives Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God (John 1:12). 

Pro 23:18 For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

There’s an end to whatever addiction you can’t let go of now, there’s an end to whatever sorrow of yours, there’s an end to troubles and trauma! Jesus is the end to all of them. Don’t you see it? He’s the answer you have been seeking for. Appreciate His love for you by accepting Him today!

Lord Jesus! I accept you right now as my Lord and savior. I believe in the death and resurrection of the Son, Jesus. And I refuse to be held bound by the powers of SIN. Thank you for the gift of eternal life through your son Jesus! Amen!
