There are lot of reasons why so many claim that Christianity is difficult; some say Christianity is nothing but a game just like politics. Some refuse to believe that there’s only but one God who created the universe. Well, other say there’s not a benefit in Christianity since they have to forsake all for that God.
However, Christianity is not a competition or a religion. It is a revelation of whom God truly is. Everything about Christianity is centered in obedience to the Lordship of Jesus. Perhaps, you might not like how this sound but Christianity is not a religion. It’s not theory, it is not a revelation of something to come, it is a call to serve Jesus. It is christ-centered not self-centered. It is not a competition for higher grace or mantle or anointing, it is never politic-centered but love-centered, accommodating both the weak and strong. There’s no atom of pride and bitterness in it. It is a call to service for this is the whole duty of man.
¹³Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
¹⁴For God shall bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
There’s no 1000 attribute to a true christain. No? There’s only one attribute of a believer, he fears God. One who fear God is obedient, full of God’s love and mercy. There is no depression and anxiety in such, for his life would be full of peace. This is just as the scripture says, come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. We find God in the place of prayer. In that place we find a quiet rest to our unending selfish desires . The light of God is revealed in our heart and darkness comprehendeth it not.
All type of religion prays, the Muslim pray, Hindus pray, Buddhist pray but the prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Purity, holiness can only be found in Jesus. Just as the book of James says;
DRAW NIGH TO GOD, AND HE WILL DRAW NIGH TO YOU. CLEANSE YOUR HANDS, YE SINNERS; AND PURIFY YOUR HEARTS, YE DOUBLE MINDED
There is no lie in Jesus. Are you looking for freedom? Are you hoping for restoration? Are you looking for healing? It can only be found in Jesus. No other person but Jesus. And that’s Christianity, it’s liberty, it’s restoration, it all about Jesus!.
