I really hope that after this post you will no longer be ignorant of the devices of the enemy. There are different systems through which the enemy strikes at us, one of which is through Lust. However the man whom the devil hates is not that one who is aware of the route through which the devil tempts him. The Devil doesn’t Hate that one that can discern all theology and teach all scripture, in fact he screams joyfully when he encounters them. Moreover he’s not angry with that man who is aware of the existence Of God. The Devil don’t care if you know everything about the firmament. As funny as it may sound, he’s not in combat with those who have heard about Jesus. He doesn’t even care if you’re all full of the anointing and you can work all Miracles. Remember Ezekiel 28:14, Satan was described as an anointed cherub that covereth the throne before he was cast down to the Earth. Basically speaking, he knows a lot on how the anointing operates. So You can’t test your maturity in God with the anointing. The anointing only breaks the yoke. It doesn’t make the devil hate you! Because you can be full of the anointing and still go to hell.
So, what’s the devil truly afraid of? The kind of man the devil hates is;
1. A man who prays : (if you are reading this, also read the art of prayer). Men ought always to pray and not faint is not a quote but a reality of whom we’re in Christ. We’re Christ like because we live the life of Christ. And there’s no better way to tap into the Life of God than through Prayer. If Revival must come we must pray. If we must command great authority, we must Pray. If we would make Heaven, then we must also pray. If we depend on the anointing to fetch us life then we will wait for a very long-term. But prayer simplifies tasks. When we pray we get aligned with God. We receive strength to walk upon the surface of this Earth. There’s no greater fear of the Devil than to see a man praying. He’s more engrossed with Fear and bitterness because he can’t touch prayer. Did you read that? The devil can’t touch Prayer! Prayer carries fire, prayer brings down the anointing, prayer keeps us aligned, Prayer is a fragrance of God’s glory. A Young woman complained to our pastor crying out for help because she was always attacked by the Devil every night. So she seeked for help. According to her, witches always came to shave off her hair at night. So she wakes up with little or no hair at all. On a good week, she was called out and intercession was made on her behalf over every agent of darkness. While a lot of people were praying against her enemies, asking God to kill those Witches. I was praying a different prayer. Guess what I told God; give her fire! Yes that was my prayer. Why did I make that prayer? There are a lot of witches around the globe very innumerable and beyond count. Though we can’t see them, yet they exist and I’m so sorry to announce to you that they are not yet in hell. Remember Job chp 1. The Lord asked Satan where he was coming from and his reply was “…From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it”. So the devil is on Earth not yet in the Lake of fire as some people suppose. If eventually the witches that attacks her every night dies. Of course they did! Will that be the end of her experience with witchcraft. No! Big NO. So we need to pray for fire. There’s only one work that fire does. It will baptize you with an unction to labour in prayers. Can we pray!
2. A man who’s sincere : just like the Bible say, the Devil is a liar and a master to them that lie also. But a man who is sincere, he hates. (I’m using the strong word Hate instead of dislike to mean two things ‘fight against and dislike). So if you notice the devil striking against you, it therefore means that your life is becoming more and more difficult for Him to understand. He’s the devil and he seems not to get it when men begins to act based on the truth. From the beginning, he wasn’t sincere with his master. Sometimes when we begin to say the truth we receive insults and bad manners from those who we thought were our friends. Then they begin to call you all kind of names just to get you distracted and feel bad for saying the truth. Nothing should really bother you as long as it’s not what Jesus says about you.
Psa 51:17 "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise"
3. A man who is full of the Word : we know this is a very important part of our Christian journey (to get more details on spiritual books that will start your journey this year click here). And so the devil will fight every part of us so we don’t see the reality in God’s word. He wants you to think the way the world thinks so he gets an opportunity to manipulate you. In the word we find the key to living the life Jesus wants us to live, we get to know the keys to true Riches and not some Babylonian wealth, we get to understand the purpose of creation and how Faith fuels our sustainability here on Earth. A man who doesn’t read his Bible is already in captivity. When we come into Christ, the first deliverance we receive is laziness in studying God’s word. And this is why he creates an unusual hunger in you to know Him.
1Pe 2:2 "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby"
Even Paul after his great missions and outreach with notable workings of the Spirit among the gentiles still desired to know and have more of the Spirit.
Phl 3:10 "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death"
Today, people who still desire such hunger for studying their Bible are few. So many fake preachers on pulpit, so many fake Ministers on stage. They have the anointing but there’s no fire, no surge of God’s energy. They have become lukewarm. The Devil don’t Hate Men with the anointing, he hates those who carry the life of God. You’re a believer and for a number of days, weeks, months, years you’re yet to finish a book of the Bible. You go to church every Sunday, give offering, pay tithes, Yet you don’t know God. Haven’t it yet occurred to you that the just shall live by faith and not by attending Sunday meetings? That Faith can only be accessed through the Word of God. The word of life. Brethren! Where’s your fire? Where’s your fragrance? Is the devil happy with you because you go to church yet you meet him for assistance, or is he afraid when your name is mentioned because you put down his plan and burn them to ashes; does he fear you because of the one who lives in you (who’s Jesus) or he’s dancing because he lives in you?
