Since a lot of us don’t even know what books we should get to read this new year, I decided to compile a list of ten amazing books we should get as we begin the year.
Why we read books?
First and foremost there are several reasons we need to read books. Not just because of knowledge. Yeah, you read that right! Most times when I read a book, I don’t always love glancing at the book just to get some hidden truth, no? I basically want to know the reason behind every word the author penned down. What were the thoughts of the Author? And if I’m able to get it, whoops, you can hear my Spirit man shouting for joy.
You know something about book that I know that people claim to know but don’t know? Is that books are the most exciting and edifying contents in this world. Oh! An anti-bookworm will not be happy about this one. But that’s the truth. I know a lot of people don’t believe this, but if you want to actually make every moment of your life count in such beautiful colors, read books. Most especially Godly contents. Books provides you with top secret ideas for breaking the shackles of delay and barrenness in life as far as you’re able to tap into the realities that were prescribed for that book. Many a times you can receive the baptism of the Holy spirit while reading a book. You can even tap into new ideas for your business while reading a book on finance. So many people have received deliverance from corrupt mindset while they read books. And the best book you can start with this twenty-twenty three is your Bible. This doesn’t sound awkward dear! Don’t even spend time reading other books if you’ve not started reading your Bible. Someone once told me that the reason why he don’t read his Bible is because it’s difficult to comprehend, no insight, no revelation. Well, Jesus never said its going to be any easier. Don’t give up! As you continue in prayers and consistency, the Light of the Word becomes real to you. That is why we have the Holy spirit. Our interpreter!
Let’s dive in!
Okay, let’s dive in.. Top ten books you must read this New year!
Poverty-stricken as the Church is today in many things, she is most stricken here, in the place of praver. We have many organizers, but few agonizers; many players and payers, few pray-ers; many singers, few clingers; lots of pastors, few wrestlers; many fears, few tears; much fashion, little passion; many interferers, few intercessors; many writers, but few fighters. Failing here, we fail everywhere.

The cause of that is some other kind of fire. I say instead, “Let me burn on for Thee, dear Lord.” The altar flame should never go out. Without fire, there is no gospel. The New Testament begins with fire. The first thing said about Christ by his first witness concerned fire. John the Baptist, himself a “burning and shining light” declared that: “He will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” (Matthew 3:11)
John the baptiser introduced Jesus the Baptiser, the Baptiser with a vast difference. John used water, a physical element, but Christ uses a spiritual element, the Holy Spirit. Water and fire – what a contrast! Not that John the Baptist had a watery religion (though there is plenty of that around, often combined with ice!). John the Baptist stood in the cold waters of the Jordan, baptizing, but Jesus the Baptiser stands in a river of liquid Fire.Download
